Our Team

Sal Ruscica
President and Owner, Summerhill Homes Ltd.

With a rich history of over 25 years in the Building and Development industry, Sal established Summerhill Homes with his wife Cathy in 2007. Having previously served on the Board of Directors and as Past President of the DRHBA and an active member of BILD, OHBA, and CHBA, Sal has built excellent relationships across the industry and has been involved in the development of over 2,000 low rise units across Ontario together with our award winning partnerships. His vision is to build homes that exceed industry and customer standards, maintaining the quality and integrity that act as the foundation that Summerhill Homes was built upon.

Cathy Ruscica
Director of Marketing and Décor

Along with her husband Sal, Cathy founded Summerhill Homes in 2007. For a time she held an advisory position in the company, though joined the day-to-day operations in 2009 as Director of Marketing and Décor. Product design and décor coordination allows her to help bring to life the design dreams of each homeowner with creativity and inspiration. Cathy also manages all communications with marketing companies and personnel in order to assist in upholding the integrity, quality, and vision that Summerhill Homes is proud to provide.

Michelle Glionna
General Manager

Michelle joined the development field 25 years ago. Her in-depth industry knowledge allows her to successfully aid clients with any and all concerns and provide support to on-site and in-office personnel. Michelle also conducts site inspections, handles financial quotes and pricing, and manages communications with cities, municipalities, architects, engineers, and purchasers.
